Data Processing Addendum

Last updated:

This draft addendum explains how Fonos handles personal data on your behalf when you use MonitoringDog. It may change when our legal text is finalised.

1. Scope and roles

This addendum applies when you use MonitoringDog and we handle personal data on your behalf. For the account data you put into the monitoring service, you decide why and how it is used, and Fonos acts as your processor. For the data we need to run our own business, such as billing and support records, Fonos acts for itself, as described in the Privacy Policy.

2. What we process

We process the account details you give us, the monitor definitions you create, the check results those monitors produce, and the incident and alert records that follow from them. We use this data only to provide, maintain and support the monitoring service for you.

3. Security measures

We protect the data we process as described in our Privacy Policy. This addendum adds no further commitments on security measures.

4. Sub-processors

The current list of sub-processors is available on request at support@monitoringdog.com.

5. Data subject requests and assistance

If a person asks you to access, correct or delete their personal data held in the service, we will help you respond, to the extent the service allows it. If a person contacts us directly about data we process for you, we will point them to you.

6. Deletion and return on termination

When your account ends, we delete the account data we process for you, or return it to you on request, unless the law requires us to keep it.

7. Contact

MonitoringDog is a product of Fonos, 163 Tras Street #10-05, Singapore. For questions about this addendum, contact us at support@monitoringdog.com.
